Responsibilities and duties

Job activities and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with innovation areas in the development of projects related to new pharmaceutical technologies, focusing on Incremental Innovation, through proposals for new delivery systems, drug associations, or alternative administration routes.
• Lead incremental innovation projects, covering scope, deadlines, and deliverables, from ideation to experimental execution, applying appropriate analytical and pharmaceutical technology methodologies.
• Contribute to laboratory organization, including the development and updating of standard operating procedures (e.g., workflows, records, cleaning, calibrations, maintenance, and equipment operation).
• Conduct experiments following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Prepare scientific articles, research project proposals, technical reports, reviews, and abstracts.
• Stay updated with relevant scientific and technical advancements, critically evaluating results and solutions obtained during research compared to existing literature and patents.

Requirements and qualifications

For this position, you must have:

• Degree in Pharmacy, Biology/Biological Sciences, Biomedicine, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering;
• Master's degree with a focus on Pharmaceutical Technologies applied to Incremental Innovation;
• Advanced English (written and spoken);
• Experience in pharmaceutical technology and development of analytical methods for different dosage forms;

It will be a differential:

• Completed PhD with a focus on Pharmaceutical Technologies applied to Incremental Innovation;
• Knowledge and experience in Nanotechnology;
• Understanding of development (production methods), physicochemical characterization (DLS, DSC, TG, XRD, microscopy, IR), and in vitro and in vivo proof-of-concept (efficacy and/or pharmacokinetic assays) for different pharmaceutical technologies;
• Knowledge of semi-solid dosage forms, soft capsules, lipid compositions;
• Knowledge and application of DoE and QbD techniques for product development and experimental optimization;

Work location: Guarulhos - Rodovia Presidente Dutra, Km 222

Model: On-site Monday to Thursday and home office on Fridays / On-site

Work schedule: Monday to Thursday from 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:15 AM to 12:15 PM
