Responsibilities and duties

• Develop and update hydraulic models of water supply and sewage systems;
• Critically evaluate studies and models developed by consultancies and suppliers;
• Perform technical analyses of basic designs, executive designs, conceptual studies, and other engineering documents;
• Interpret and validate operational, cadastral, and hydraulic information;
• Process, analyze, and consolidate large volumes of data;
• Develop technical studies and spreadsheets to support decision-making;
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of operational monitoring and control systems;
• Support technical and economic feasibility studies for infrastructure projects;
• Prepare reports, technical opinions, procedures, and normative instructions;
• Work in an integrated manner with multidisciplinary teams and different company units;
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the continuous improvement of Aegea's modeling processes and standards.

Requirements

• Completed higher education in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields;
• Experience with hydraulic modeling of water and/or sewage networks;
• Knowledge of software such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Bentley, EPANET, or similar;
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, with a focus on data analysis and processing;
• Basic knowledge of GIS;
• Availability for occasional travel;
• Ability to interpret norms, procedures, and technical documentation.

• Experience in basic sanitation projects;
• Knowledge of water supply networks and sewage systems;
• Experience with operational monitoring and loss control;
• Experience in critical analysis of hydraulic studies;
• Familiarity with analysis automation and the use of AI tools for productivity enhancement.
