We are currently looking for a Logistics and Imports Analyst for our Mexico City office.

Main Responsibilities:

Imports and foreign trade

• Coordinate import processes with suppliers, subsidiaries, and international partners.
• Track shipments from origin to their release and delivery in Mexico.
• Coordinate and maintain continuous communication with customs brokers, forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and suppliers.
• Review and track customs declarations (pedimentos) and documentation associated with foreign trade operations.
• Verify commercial and customs documentation before each dispatch.
• Support the preparation and control of waybills (Carta Porte) and transport documentation when applicable.
• Keep the documentary file for each operation updated.
• Ensure complete traceability of shipments and associated documentation.
• Follow up on customs and logistics incidents until their resolution.
• Coordinate the release of goods and ensure compliance with established timelines.

Logistics and shipments

• Coordinate national and international freight.
• Track maritime, air, and land shipments.
• Coordinate deliveries from ports, airports, warehouses, or suppliers to our facilities or clients.
• Manage delivery appointments, receiving windows, and specific client requirements.
• Maintain continuous communication with carriers and logistics providers.
• Track delays, incidents, rejections, or discrepancies in deliveries.
• Verify that each shipment has the necessary documentation before its departure and reception.
• Maintain updated visibility of the status of each operation.

Inventories, orders, and operational control

• Track orders from confirmation to final delivery.
• Control and update inventories and merchandise movements.
• Coordinate information between sales, logistics, warehouse, suppliers, and clients.
• Identify discrepancies between orders, received merchandise, inventory, and documentation.
• Prepare reports on shipments, inventories, deliveries, and incidents.
• Keep systems and files updated with reliable and traceable information.
• Support internal audits with complete, organized, and easily verifiable documentation.

Process improvement

• Identify recurring errors, delays, or inefficiencies in operations.
• Propose improvements in logistics, administrative, and documentary processes.
• Create or improve controls, checklists, reports, and operational procedures.
• Help standardize the way of working with suppliers, customs brokers, carriers, and other internal areas.
• Anticipate risks before they generate delays, additional costs, or client problems.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, Administration, or related fields.
• Previous experience in logistics operations, foreign trade, imports, or shipment coordination.
• Experience working directly with customs brokers, forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and suppliers.
• Hands-on knowledge of customs declarations (pedimentos) and customs documentation.
• Knowledge of Waybill (Carta Porte) and transport documentation.
• Experience tracking international shipments.
• Knowledge of import and customs clearance processes.
• Experience in inventory, order, and delivery control.
• Ability to maintain complete and traceable documentary files.
• Very high attention to detail.
• Ability to detect inconsistencies before they become a problem.
• Ability to work simultaneously with multiple operations and priorities.
• Good operational judgment.
• Clear and professional communication with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Proactive, structured, responsible, and follow-up oriented profile.
• Ability to analyze processes and propose improvements.
• Experience with SAP or other ERPs will be a significant advantage.
• Intermediate or higher English will be positively valued.

Someone who wants to know where the merchandise is, what documentation is missing, when it will arrive, what could block customs clearance, and what needs to be done to prevent it.

We will especially value experience in industrial, chemical, distribution, commodities, freight forwarding, foreign trade companies, or international companies.

• This position offers a monthly compensation between $16,000 MXN gross/month and $22,000 MXN gross/month. Before applying, please consider this salary range to ensure it aligns with your expectations.
