Accounts Payable Analyst

ALTEN México is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team. About the Role


Responsible for managing all of the company's financial obligations with suppliers and creditors, ensuring that payments are made in a timely and correct manner to avoid delays.


Responsibilities


  • Perform manual accounting entries related to banking, purchasing, and supplier payments, fixed asset control, deferred charges control, VAT and direct tax control, payroll entries, loans and interest, intra-group charges, and any other.
  • Ensure the correct accounting of all company transactions through configuration analysis.
  • Monitor and enforce the general purchasing and accounts payable process.
  • Ensure compliance with the Supplier Evaluation procedure.
  • Guarantee accounts payable (employee payments requested by the different ALTEN departments) and organize payment vouchers, as well as follow up on each of them.
  • Assist in resolving doubts regarding payments with external suppliers.
  • Participate in ALTEN México's internal initiatives.
  • Comply with safety and hygiene regulations and procedures established in the company.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and work instructions applicable and established in the Quality Management System.


Requirements:


  • Degree in Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting reconciliation, and fixed assets.
  • Minimum 1 year in an audit firm (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Intermediate / Advanced English level.
  • Proactive attitude, service orientation, and ability to work in a team.


Required Skills


  • Experience in accounts payable.
  • Knowledge in accounting reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with NetSuite (a plus).
