Accounting Analyst

Your Mission

We are looking for a Jr. Accountant Analyst to join our team. Your mission will be to be responsible for executing and preparing work papers for compliance with fiscal obligations (federal and local such as Income Tax, VAT, and Excise Tax), providing support in reconciliations, accounting entries, and revenue integrations, as well as supporting audits and requirements from tax authorities, ensuring the financial integrity of the company.

What will you do?

• Prepare work papers for monthly VAT tax returns based on actual collections.
• Generate CFDI (Digital Tax Receipt) reconciliation reports for revenue compared to collections.
• Make daily accounting entries and ensure the correct accounting and integrity of stamped revenues.
• Prepare integrations and supporting accounting entries for month-end closing.
• Provide administrative support in handling requirements from tax authorities and audit reviews.
• Stay updated on tax legislation to identify potential impacts on operations.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting completed.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in general accounting, account integration, and taxes (federal and local).
• Sector: Previous experience in banking, financial sector companies, fintechs, or automotive (highly desirable).
• Tools and Software: Proficiency in accounting ERPs (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) and invoicing/CFDI systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Bank and invoicing reconciliations, applicable tax regulations (Income Tax, VAT, Excise Tax).
• Languages: Basic to intermediate English.
• Competencies: High analytical profile, reliability, attention to detail, and high responsibility/ownership in deliverables.
