Senior Purchasing Analyst - Services
Location: Aurizona, Municipality of Godofredo Viana (MA), Brazil
Number of Vacancies: 01
Work Model: Hybrid
10 days on-site at the unit, from Monday to Friday, followed by 20 days of remote work. Accommodation is provided by the company during the on-site period.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a professional to act as a Senior Purchasing Analyst - Services, with a strong analytical profile and a focus on strategic contracting management for industrial maintenance, plant shutdowns, dam, and mine areas.
The position requires close collaboration with operational areas, critical thinking for analyzing contracting scenarios, and a strong data-driven approach to ensure competitiveness, compliance, operational efficiency, and value generation in purchasing processes.
Main Responsibilities
• Conduct service contracting processes for industrial maintenance, mine operations, dam, facilities, and operational support;
• Act in the planning and execution of demands related to plant shutdowns, ensuring agility and safety in critical contracting;
• Carry out quotation processes, commercial negotiation, and technical/commercial equalization;
• Execute strategic purchasing analyses, evaluating price history, market trends, relevant variations, and optimization opportunities;
• Validate and approve purchasing processes through comparative analyses, indicators, and competitiveness criteria;
• Develop studies and insights related to costs, contractual efficiency, supplier behavior, and expense reduction opportunities;
• Prepare analytical reports and management presentations to support decision-making;
• Manage active contracts, monitoring balances, validity periods, adjustments, reallocations, and the need for amendments;
• Prepare and monitor contract drafts, amendments, and contracting documentation;
• Support internal approval processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and governance;
• Participate in periodic meetings with internal stakeholders, acting in a consultative and proactive manner with client areas;
• Develop relationships with strategic suppliers, seeking continuous improvement in delivery time, quality, cost, and service;
• Ensure documentary, fiscal, and contractual compliance in contracting processes;
• Operate in ERP systems and supply management tools.
Mandatory Requirements
• University degree in Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or related fields;
• Experience in purchasing and/or contracting of industrial services;
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data and purchasing indicator analysis;
• Experience with price history analysis, benchmarking, cost variations, and validation of contracting processes;
• Experience with maintenance, mining, dam, or plant shutdown contracts;
• Knowledge of commercial negotiation and contract management;
• Experience with ERP (SAP, Datasul, Oracle, or similar);
• Advanced proficiency in Office Suite, especially Excel;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model (10 days on-site, 20 days remote).
