Foreign Trade Analyst

Brunel is looking for a Foreign Trade Analyst to work with one of our clients in the oil and gas sector. This position will be for a 7-month temporary contract, in a hybrid regime, in Rio das Ostras (RJ).

Main responsibilities:

• Plan and analyze import and export strategies, defining the most suitable means of transport for each operation;
• Act in the planning and monitoring of processes carried out under Special Regimes, such as RECAP, Temporary Admission, and Export;
• Control import and export shipments, from origin to delivery to the final destination, ensuring compliance with established deadlines;
• Monitor cargo storage deadlines, seeking to avoid additional costs to the processes;
• Coordinate records and monitor the progress of processes with customs brokers;
• Monitor processes with internal clients, following up and ensuring alignment of information;
• Advise internal clients on Foreign Trade procedures and best practices;
• Receive budget requests, analyze demands, and prepare quotations;
• Make entries and update data in internal systems;
• Support the identification of opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency in Foreign Trade processes;
• Ensure that operations are aligned with applicable legislation and procedures.

Requirements:

• Completed higher education in Administration, International Relations, Foreign Trade, or related areas;
• Experience with Import and Export processes;
• Knowledge of Foreign Trade Legislation;
• Experience with Special Regimes, especially REPETRO, Temporary Admission, and Export;
• Knowledge of the Office Package, especially Excel;
• Intermediate to advanced English;
• Good ability to organize, track deadlines, and relate to different stakeholders.
