Internal Audit Analyst

Job description

At Servicios a la Infraestructura Aeroportuaria del Pacífico, we are looking for a responsible individual to perform internal audits focused on the risk management of different business processes, as well as review compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), validating the operational effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with current norms and regulations, validate the adequate compliance with the group's policies and procedures, carry out audits based on current criteria and legislation.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Public Accounting, Finance, Systems Engineering, or related field (Graduated).
  • Experience in internal audit and/or external audit.
  • Internal control and COSO framework.
  • Experience in process mapping and in the preparation of audit reports.


Knowledge:

  • In the Global Internal Audit Standards (NOGAI).
  • In advanced Excel (macros, formulas, pivot tables), Visio, ACL, Power BI.


Skills

  • In writing and documenting work papers.
  • In analysis and interpretation of complex situations.
  • In assertive communication.


Job Functions:

  • Identify, assess, and document risks in the organization's operational and financial processes.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive approach to risk management that is aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), especially concerning internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Support the planning, development, and follow-up of the annual Internal Audit program.
  • Preparation of audit reports for review and validation with the audited areas and Internal Audit Management.
  • Execute work programs for audits of business areas and cycles, in accordance with the methodology defined by Internal Audit Management.
  • Evaluate internal controls, including the identification of deficiencies and the recommendation of improvements to strengthen controls.
  • Monthly follow-up of Indicators and Reaction Plans for Airports and Corporate.
  • Apply data analysis techniques to evaluate the integrity and accuracy of financial and operational information.
