Job Opportunity: Staff Specialist/Senior Staff Specialist - Anaesthetics
We are currently assisting a regional hospital in New South Wales in their search for a dedicated and experienced Anaesthetist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a well-established hospital with a significant $250 million redevelopment in progress, which will provide cutting-edge facilities and enhanced services for the community.

The Role:
As a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics, you will provide contemporary and comprehensive specialist anaesthetic services to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will also support training for clinicians across multiple disciplines to foster quality education and safe clinical practices.

Selection Criteria:
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Anaesthesia (or overseas-trained specialist pathways)
- Proven experience in anaesthetic practice, particularly in trauma and emergency scenarios
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership
- Commitment to teaching, continuous education, research, and quality improvement
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster
- Alignment with the NSW Health CORE values and the hospital's goals
