AML Analyst - No Experience

Job Description
Do you want to play a role in detecting and combating financial criminality? Through Oliver James, you can start as a Junior AML-Analist within Transaction Monitoring. You are responsible for analyzing payment behavior and signaling unusual transactions that may indicate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other forms of financial-economic criminality. You work in a dynamic environment where accuracy, teamwork, and social impact stand central.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze transactions and unusual payment behavior.
• Prepare analyses and advice on risk mitigation.
• Provide feedback to colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Achieve individual and team targets and contribute to a shared vision.
• Advise on possible reports to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
• Collaborate on process improvements and optimization of systems.

Your Profile
You are analytically strong and can quickly grasp complex material. With your keen eye for detail and communication skills, you can sharply signal risks and report them thoroughly. For this role, we ask:

• HBO or WO work and thinking level.
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
• Good written communication skills to clearly and efficiently verbalize analyses.
• Able to support colleagues and advise on risk management.
• A driven mindset, prioritizing and self-motivated work.

• A 12-month contract (36-40 hours) with a view to indefinite time.
