Alteryx Expert - IT Manager (m/w/d) (Ref.Nr.: 45879)

We are looking for an Alteryx expert in an IT management/master role for a consulting part-time function (approx. 30% utilization) to support the design, governance, and handover of Alteryx-based ETL and reporting workflows from January 7, 2026, to December 31, 2026.

Your tasks

• Review of input sources (booking stacks, order exports) including identification of relevant data fields, keys, and time periods

• Definition of allocation logic (keys, scenarios, priorities, fallback rules)

• Creation of a technical design according to Alteryx Best Practices

• Building modular, scalable Alteryx workflow sets including possibly macros

• Implementation of input parsing, data cleaning, and rule-based corrections, for example, application of Excel correction files

• Conducting joins/blends on relevant tables as well as sum and consistency checks

• Allocation of costs based on the defined keys

• Ensuring commented containers, transparent connections, and version notes within workflows

• Creation of the output file 'Ist-Kosten' and preparation of relevant data in Alteryx including pivot analysis

• Generation of quality reports (sum check, deviations, missing assignments)

• Preparation or conception of a Power BI connection

• Building a Power BI dashboard for visualizing the preparations

• Creation of technical documentation (workflow overview, logic, parameters) and an user manual (operation, storage locations, checklists)

• Conducting a handover workshop including walk-through and Q&A

Must requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in developing ETL processes and data preparation workflows, with evidence in at least three of the role-specific requirements

• Expert level in Alteryx Designer including macros and workflow optimization

• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, transformation, and automation of financial and order data

• Experience in implementing complex allocation logics and rule-based data processing

• Experience in data integration and cleaning from sources such as Excel, CSV, and SQL-based systems

• Evidence-based practice in creating reporting outputs (e.g., Excel pivot) and quality assurance measures (sum/difference checks)

• Secure handling of Best Practices for workflow design (containers, naming conventions, documentation)

• Basic knowledge of automation and scheduling, especially Alteryx Server/Gallery

• Analytical thinking and structured working style

• Ability to independently conceptualize and implement complex requirements

• Communication skills for coordination with departments and IT

• Experience in agile project methods (e.g., sprints, reviews)

• Familiarity with data protection and compliance guidelines (e.g., data location, internal policies)

• Evidence-based experience in the context of IT security in infrastructure projects, especially network expansion projects

• SAFe certification

CAN requirements

• Experience with Power BI and building Power BI dashboards

• In-depth experience in operation, scheduling, and publishing on Alteryx Server/Gallery

• Experience with extended reporting and visualization requirements

• Project experience at the client or in comparable customer environments
