We are looking for a Senior Alteryx Expert in the role of Business Analyst to implement a data-driven digitalization project from January 7, 2026 to December 31, 2026 with a scope of 220 person-days and an utilization rate of approximately 100%

Your tasks

• Review of input sources (e.g. booking stacks, export orders) including analysis of relevant data fields, keys, and timeframes

• Definition of allocation logic including keys, scenarios, priorities, and fallback rules

• Creation of technical design according to Alteryx Best Practices

• Building a modular and maintainable workflow set in Alteryx, possibly with macros

• Implementation of input parsing, data cleaning, and rule-based corrections (e.g. application of Excel correction data)

• Joining/blending relevant tables and performing sum and consistency checks

• Implementation of cost allocation according to the defined keys

• Ensuring commented containers, transparent connections, and version notes within workflows

• Creation of output file for actual costs

• Preparation and aggregation of data in Alteryx including pivot analysis

• Generation of quality reports for checking sums, deviations, and missing assignments

• Preparation of prospective binding to Power BI

• Creation of technical documentation (workflow overview, logic, parameters)

• Creation of user manual with operating instructions, storage locations, and checklists

• Conducting a handover workshop including walk-through and Q&A

• Preparation for scheduling and publication via Alteryx Server/Gallery (optional)

• Building a Power BI dashboard for visualizing results (optional)

Must-Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in developing ETL processes and data preparation workflows, preferably with Alteryx Designer

• Expert level in Alteryx Designer including macros and workflow optimization

• Fundamental knowledge of data modeling, data transformation, and automation of financial and order data

• Experience in implementing complex allocation logics and rule-based data processing

• Notable practice in creating reporting outputs (e.g. Excel pivot) and quality control (sums/difference checks)

• Safe handling of workflow design best practices (containers, naming conventions, documentation)

• Experience in data integration and data cleaning from Excel, CSV, and SQL-based sources

• Basic knowledge of automation and scheduling with Alteryx Server/Gallery

• Analytical thinking and structured working style, as well as ability to independently conceive and implement complex requirements

• Communication skills for coordinating with departments and IT, as well as experience with agile project methods (sprints, reviews)

• Familiarity with data protection and compliance guidelines (e.g. data location, internal policies)

• Notable project experience in the context of IT security in infrastructure projects, particularly network upgrade projects

• SAFe certification

Can-Requirements

• Experience with Power BI for dashboarding and visualization

• Practice in preparing scheduling/publication on Alteryx Server/Gallery

• Additional certifications or specializations in the field of data engineering or data governance
