Apprenticeship - Central Laboratory M/F

Performs control and formulation tests for SMAC's asphalt laboratory. Reporting to the Manager of the SMAC Central Laboratory, he/she will primarily work within the Central Laboratory team and respond to the needs of the Industry department. POST MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING: - Carries out raw material controls; - Formulates and controls asphalts; - Establishes Test Reports for completed tests; - Writes summary reports of tests; - Conducts site monitoring, takes samples, and writes reports; - Performs expert tests on asphalt samples; - Is capable of training a colleague in laboratory techniques; - Performs formulation tests for road asphalt (CE standard); - Writes CE technical documents (BL, label, and DOP) for road asphalt formulas; - Monitors the production control of asphalt plants (tests, interpretation, and updating of monitoring tables), informs plants in case of non-compliance; - Manages the laboratory's raw material stock; - Performs test and approval tests for new raw materials; - Monitors and updates laboratory operating procedures; - Creates commercial samples. LABORATORY MAINTENANCE: - Ensures regular maintenance of the laboratory and their workstation (cleaning and tidying); - Complies with waste management instructions. COLLECTIVE SAFETY: - Complies with HSE instructions; - Complies with signage, labeling, and storage rules for hazardous products used in the laboratory; - Complies with the site's safety and environmental instructions, as well as those related to their position.
