The teams in the Customs division operate from the Nantes, Toulouse, and Barcelona sites on numerous subjects: BREXIT, E-commerce, fight against fraud, maritime surveillance, control and taxation of goods, projects with a European dimension. For our client, we are tackling many challenges around cloud, DevOps, embedded ecosystems, mobility, security…

As a development engineer, your mission is to contribute to all stages of a project, from the design phase to deployment with our client.

This apprenticeship is designed to provide you with an expanded knowledge base essential for your future career, regardless of your chosen path (project manager, functional analyst, architect, developer, technical expert, …).

Integrated into a project team of about 10 people, you are constantly supervised by experienced and motivated peers who are eager to introduce you to their profession. The highly industrial work environment provides you with the necessary framework for rapid skill development.

Your role and responsibilities:

You will participate in the various phases of the project evolution lifecycle:

• Technical workshops and impact analysis;
• Writing technical specifications;
• Development;
• Deployment of project industrialization tools;
• Participation in testing campaigns: writing and executing tests;
• Analysis of production incidents and client support.

Technical Environment:

Our technical foundation relies on Open Source products and is part of a DevOps approach where you are responsible for both development and deployment:

• Development of 2-tier applications written in Angular with TypeScript on the frontend and Spring Boot with Java on the backend (REST API);
• Writing unit tests with Junit 5 / Mockito for the backend and Karma / Jasmine for the frontend;
• Use of relational and non-relational data storage such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB;
• Continuous integration and deployment via Gitlab CI/CD;
• Containerization and orchestration of deployments with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible;
• Automation of end-to-end tests with Protractor, Gherkin, and Cucumber;
• Tool-assisted development environment: GitLab, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, Maven, Yarn, Webpack.

You are looking for a final-year apprenticeship as part of your engineering school, Master 2 in computer science, or equivalent training. You have knowledge in programming and innovative technologies.

You are versatile, creative, and possess strong synthesis and analytical skills.
