Workfield

• Assuming nursing responsibility for a group of patients and performing nursing activities in accordance with the nursing standard
• Delegating nursing responsibility to healthcare and nursing assistants
• Planning personnel deployment (scheduling and vacation planning) and student deployment in coordination with and in the absence of the station leader
• Carrying out and controlling nursing documentation
• Coordinating all work on the station
• Carrying out administrative tasks
• Participating in quality assurance in nursing
• Introducing new employees and trainees
• Cooperative agreements with all professional groups

Qualification

• Degree in healthcare and nursing
• Further education to lead a station is desirable, but not a condition
