Job description
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Perform operational tasks of the warehouse, including receipt, storage, picking and loading of merchandise, ensuring accuracy in inventories, order and compliance with delivery times.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:Receive and verify materials according to documents; Visual inspection of received material; Arrange products in assigned location; Counting with scales and repackaging of material: Generate orders for replenishment of material manually or through scanning of containers for customers with Kanban or VMI program; Prepare and ship orders for delivery; Make deliveries to local customer installations; Load transports for foreign deliveries; Participate in cyclic reports and general inventory; Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse; Support in loading and unloading merchandise; Monitor inventory levels; Report any deviation to the supervisor immediately; Participate in activities of sorting or recovery of material.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Indispensable: Handling forklifts and experience working in a warehouse; Ability to handle small or medium-sized cargo transport; Basic use of computer and scanner; Knowledge of safety handling materials; Responsible, punctual and organized attitude; Ability to follow instructions and work as a team; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word and Excel; Possess a customer-centered attitude.
