Allround Electrical Fitter Cranes

You solve malfunctions where others get stuck. Ready for the next step? As an Allround Electrical Fitter, you will work largely independently on maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting solutions at one of the busiest container terminals in Europe — operating 24/7 at the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam. You switch between disciplines and ensure the cranes keep running.

• Independently perform checks, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various installations;
• Perform fault analysis and repair defects through emergency repairs or replacement of parts;
• Read electrical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and system hydraulics;
• Assess whether malfunctions lie in another field (mechanical, hydraulic, vehicle technology);
• Perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and measurement technology work;
• Overhaul parts and components according to specifications;
• Prepare and execute modifications;
• Participate in the breakdown service.

• Salary between €4,000 and €5,000 gross per month, commensurate with your level and experience;

You are a technician who works independently and switches quickly. You bring:

• MBO-3 diploma as First Fitter Electrical Business Installations or equivalent;
• Knowledge of troubleshooting in PLC-controlled installations;
• Basic knowledge of frequency converters and hydraulic system technology;
• Affinity with industrial automation and port equipment; experience with ABB or Siemens is a plus;
• NEN3140 certification (or willingness to obtain it via VNOM);
• Driver's license B and good command of the Dutch language.
