Pool Attendant

Ensure the correct chemical balance, operational functionality, and optimal presentation of swimming pools and jacuzzis (public and private), ensuring quality standards, sanitary safety, and guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Measure chlorine levels, PH, alkalinity, and other necessary parameters three times a day to determine the chemical state of the water bodies.
• Record the reading results in the logbook designated for this purpose.
• Dose the necessary chemicals into the water bodies, in the required quantities, to ensure their correct chemical balance.
• Perform vacuuming and brushing of the water bodies with the necessary frequency and intensity to ensure their cleanliness and good appearance.
• Remove leaves and other floating materials.
• Clean calcium deposits from walls and copings.
• Backwash filters with the required frequency to ensure their correct operation, respecting their pressure indicators.
• Perform a daily inspection of the pump rooms under your responsibility to detect, correct, or report failures in any of the equipment or leaks in pipes or valves.
• Coordinate with the warehouse for the permanent supply of necessary chemicals for the proper chemical balance of the different water bodies.
• Maintain the necessary supplies for pool chemical control, properly identified, contained, and stored, avoiding spills and/or accidents.
• Periodically inspect the physical condition of skimmers, injection and suction nozzles, pool cleaners, auto-fills, and other accessories to detect and correct possible damage or leaks.
• Inspect and verify the proper functioning of the lighting system of the water bodies to detect and correct possible damage or failures in it.

• Inspect and verify the proper functioning of the heating systems of the water bodies, whether electric or gas, to detect and correct possible damage or failures in them.
• Record daily in the logbook the tasks performed during the shift, chemical dosages, and problems encountered, as well as their resolutions.
• Know and comply with the safety and hygiene regulations established by the company and by governmental entities for the prevention of risks and accidents within the property.
• Make good use of and provide adequate maintenance to the tools and equipment supplied by the company for the proper performance of your responsibilities, avoiding their loss or premature deterioration due to misuse or negligence.
• Make good use of the supplies provided by the company for the proper performance of your responsibilities, avoiding waste and inefficient use of them.
• Comply with and adhere to the Company's Internal Work Regulations.
• Fully comply with the work schedule assigned to your shift.
• Continuously apply the internal standards imposed by the company.
• Maintain public and private hotel pools and jacuzzis in perfect cleanliness and presentation, in conditions of total safety, for the enjoyment of guests.
