What you will do The Alarm Service Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of service technicians in the installation, service, and maintenance of security systems and fire alarm systems. How you will do it: * Supervise and manage a team of service technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. * Coordinate and schedule service calls, ensuring timely and professional service to customers. * Provide technical guidance and support to service technicians, troubleshooting complex issues as needed. * Monitor and manage service performance metrics, such as response times, first-time fix rates, and customer satisfaction. * Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to service technicians. * Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. * Manage inventory of parts and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness. * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns. * Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and engineering, to ensure seamless service delivery. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in security and fire alarm systems. What we look for Required: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the security or fire alarm industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. * Strong technical knowledge of security systems and fire alarm systems. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. * Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks. * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. * Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Preferred: * Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field. * Experience with specific security system brands (e.g., Honeywell, ADT, etc.). * Experience with specific fire alarm system brands (e.g., Simplex, Edwards, etc.). * Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, state licenses).
