Room Service Assistant

As a member of the Food & Beverage team, the Room Service Assistant - Room Service will be responsible for providing sophisticated service, ensuring guest satisfaction according to property, brand, and certification standards.

Brief descriptive activities:

• Prepare the mise en place for the apartment;
• Conduct inventory, organization, and restocking of mini-bar items in guest rooms during stay and after departure;
• Organize and sanitize utensils and dishes used in room service;
• Totalize customer accounts, present them for signature and verification, according to established financial procedures by the restaurant;
• Maintain the highest standard of excellence in Food & Beverage services;
• Use adequate techniques regarding food manipulation and services in general;
• Maintain knowledge about all specialties and general description of menu items;
• Follow the brand's and certification standards (LQA) for customer service;
• Behave in a friendly, professional, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with guests, customers, and colleagues;
• Meet all service standards of the company, brand, and certifications during the exercise of their work activities;
• Prioritize organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of workspace and materials;
• Practice all safety, sanitary, and loss prevention procedures determined by the employer and certifications;
• Participate in training sessions and departmental meetings when requested;
• Other assignments related to activity as required.
