Paladin Security is Hiring an Airport Security Officer! About the Opportunity We are hiring Airport Security Officers to join our growing security team at the airport in Goffs, Nova Scotia . As an Airport Security Officer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and airport operations. You will be responsible for performing access control , screening , surveillance , and incident response , while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: • Perform access control and screening of passengers, staff, and airport operations. • Conduct surveillance and incident response as required. • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, staff, and airport operations. • Maintain a high level of situational awareness and be prepared to respond to any security incidents. • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment. • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. • Maintain accurate records and reports as required. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. security, law enforcement) an asset. • Minimum 2 years of experience in a security-related field. • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
