15th June, 2026 Are you an operationally focused individual who thrives in a fast paced environment? Auckland Airport is looking for an Airfield Safety Officer (ASO) to ensure that the safety of aircraft operations is always maintained, including during Airfield works. Your key responsibilities are: Monitoring aviation safety functions: Contribute to works planning and preparation, including establishing work site limitations, ensure that aircraft safety or movement is not compromised by any work activities; Conducting risk assessments: Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with airfield operations; Providing safety guidance: Offer expert advice on safety procedures and protocols to airport stakeholders; Maintaining records: Keep accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions taken.
