Air Quality Sampler - Air Measurements

You'll be part of the fight against air pollution in our living environment. It's important to follow strict guidelines. As a sampler, you're responsible for conducting basic measurements of air quality at production companies throughout Flanders. In this role, you'll always be with a colleague, so you can fully find yourself under the motto 'two is always better than one!'.

A glimpse of your task package:

• As soon as you've double-checked that all necessary equipment is present in the vehicle, you and your colleague will head to the client. Where you're going depends on the schedule made by the planning team.
• Upon arrival, you'll bring the measurement equipment upstairs and prepare everything to start emissions measurements. Your day might consist of gas analyses, particle measurements, determinations of dioxins, etc.
• If you register unusually high or low values? Then there's a possibility that your measuring device is incorrectly set up or something else is going on. Thanks to your technical insight, you'll quickly identify the problem and get the situation resolved.
• At the end of your day, you'll enter the measurement data into the computer, label the samples, and bring them to the nearest office in Melsele, Zelzate or Olen, so that your colleagues can start reporting and interpreting the obtained measurement results.
