Air Freight Executive

At xpd global we are interested in incorporating talent that strengthens our Air Freight operation as After Hours support for the EMEA team from Mexico, under a hybrid work scheme. This position will be key to ensuring continuity, speed of response, and reliable service to our clients and international teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, cargo transport, or air transport services.
• General knowledge of international air transport, import, and export.
• Experience in operating and quoting logistics solutions.
• Negotiation skills to identify alternatives and coordinate with suppliers.
• Results-oriented, sense of urgency, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team with national and international departments.
• Intermediate-advanced English, essential for daily communication with EMEA.
• Completed or ongoing degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, or related fields.
• Availability to work an After Hours coverage aligned with the needs of the European team.

Among the activities to be developed

• Handle operational and quotation requests from the EMEA team during After Hours coverage.
• Prepare, send, and follow up on air freight quotations.
• Coordinate solutions with airlines, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Follow up on shipments, incidents, and urgent requirements.
• Maintain timely communication in English with international teams and contacts.
• Document progress, pending items, and handovers to ensure operational continuity.
• Contribute to meeting response time, operational quality, and customer satisfaction indicators.
