Specialized Educational Assistant (15.25 hrs/sem)

• Participate in the development and implementation of personalized learning plans (PAP) for students with diverse needs from kindergarten to 12th grade;
• Support students with diverse needs by using a variety of intervention strategies and conflict resolution techniques, aiming to facilitate their social and academic inclusion;
• Create and prepare educational materials adapted to the student's needs (visual support; tactile support; etc.) in line with PAP recommendations or plans established by the intervention team;
• Assist and accompany students to help them develop their skills and competencies towards autonomy (e.g., personal needs and life skills; etc.);
• Observe and document student behaviors and interactions, sharing these data with the intervention team to better respond to their needs;
• Report, document, and share with responsible persons any incident, concern, or worry related to student safety and well-being (physical and socio-emotional), including confidential matters.

Note:

This position consists of 12.25 hours of APS, 2 hours of surveillance, and 1 hour of LIF, totaling 15.25 hours per week. The schedule will be determined in collaboration with the direction over 2.5 days a week.
