The CMC and Operations unit manages, operates, and maintains SIG's hydroelectric production facilities. It ensures hydraulic safety, leverages resources, and actively contributes to the energy transition.
As an Operations Assistant - Electricity Production, you will provide versatile support to the operations team, particularly in logistics, maintenance, and upkeep activities, to ensure the smooth functioning of the facilities.
Your energy in the service of a sustainable Geneva
Within your scope, you will be responsible for:
Providing logistical support for operations, notably through errands and material management;
Performing maintenance on facilities by cleaning technical rooms and machinery;
Participating in external works to complement that of contractors;
Supporting major maintenance operations by providing operational assistance;
Carrying out various simple interventions on facilities (painting, carpentry, etc.).
Your personality and skills
You enjoy teamwork while also being capable of working autonomously on certain tasks. With a good sense of service, you demonstrate versatility, flexibility, and an interest in technical activities.
You possess general technical aptitude and are comfortable working in a diverse operational environment.
This position requires good physical condition and the ability to work in varied environments. You are expected not to be afraid of heights, to know how to swim, and not to be claustrophobic.
Your academic background
Technical certifications such as a forklift operator's license, working at height certification, confined space certification, aerial work platform license, boat license, or training in lifting and rigging constitute an asset.
