AI Videographer / Filmmaker (m/f/d)

Then this is your next challenge: At benuta, you will take on real ownership from day one of innovative video content for the European market leader in carpet and home & living e-commerce. In our studio in Bonn, you will combine physical set production with state-of-the-art AI video tools – future-oriented, data-driven, and at a true greenfield level!

Your Tasks

• Studio Video Production: You will conceive and realize high-quality product and lifestyle videos for carpets, blankets, cushions, and home accessories. You will work with real products, actual interior sets, and professional lighting in our studio.

• AI-Assisted Video Production: You will create generative videos for social media, performance ads, and our webshop. You will generate clips from text and images, animate existing product and interior-related footage, and bring static content to life.

• Hybrid Filmmaking: You will seamlessly combine classic live-action filmmaking with generative workflows, expand or modify existing material with AI, and always find the perfect balance between set shooting and AI.

• Editing & Post-Production: You will be responsible for independent post-production – from rough cut and color grading to final export.

• Performance & Social Content: You will produce informative product content, social media clips, and advertising materials. You will quickly implement briefings and performance learnings with Marketing and Creative into new variants.

• Creative Concept Development & Workflow Innovation: You will develop video ideas from the initial sketch to the final asset. Additionally, you will continuously test new AI video tools, establish smart workflows, and ensure a brand-consistent, aesthetic visual language.

Note on the position: We are filling this position exclusively on a permanent basis (freelance or project-based collaboration is not intended). As an Office-First Company, we work primarily on-site at our HQ in Bonn.

Your Profile

• Filmmaking Foundation: You have an education, degree, or relevant practical experience in film, video production, media design, or content creation – ideally with experience in the brand, e-commerce, interior, or fashion environment.

• Set & Post-Production Skills: You master camera, lighting, composition, and movement on set. You are completely proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve (editing, color grading).

• AI Expertise & Prompting: You have practical experience with generative video AI and prompting (e.g., Kling, Veo, Seedance, or comparable tools).

• Hybrid Mindset & Aesthetics: You understand when a live shoot is more sensible and when AI offers process advantages. You have an excellent sense for light, color, timing, and interior design.

• Performance Understanding: You confidently implement briefings for different hooks, lengths, and platform-specific formats (TikTok, Meta Ads, Webshop).

• Team Player & Presence: You value close collaboration with the Creative, Photo, and Marketing teams. Physical presence at our studio in Bonn is a matter of course for you.
