Role Overview — QA Engineer

We're looking for a QA Engineer who is detail-driven, analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality products, with strong expertise in Manual Testing, API & Database Testing, Test Automation, Selenium, and Cross-Browser Testing. You will ensure quality and performance across our web and mobile platforms. This is a high-ownership role with close collaboration across product, tech, and operations teams to build scalable and reliable products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans for web, mobile, and backend applications

• Automate test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver

• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure product compatibility

• Perform database testing by writing SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency

• Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for functional, regression, and smoke testing

• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for faster deployments

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA engineers to ensure clarity of requirements and test coverage

• Identify, log, and track defects; ensure timely resolution and re-testing

• Maintain detailed test documentation, including automation coverage reports and execution logs

• Continuously improve test automation processes and optimize script performance

• Provide QA sign-offs during releases and deployments

• Contribute to building scalable QA processes, documentation, and best practices
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in Automation Testing with strong expertise in Java and Selenium

• Experience testing web and mobile applications

• Must have worked on AI-related projects (AI-driven products, ML model workflows, or AI-powered automation/testing frameworks preferred)

• Proficient in project/bug tracking tools like Jira, Linear, or similar

• Familiarity with API automation tools (RestAssured, Postman) is a plus

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

• Hands-on experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD environments (e.g., GitHub CI)

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality assurance

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
