Your Mission

Energy costs in Europe are twice as high as in the USA and China. At the same time, electricity demand is expected to double by 2050. Market price volatility and increasing complexity will remain with us. This puts the backbone of European industry under pressure – and companies need to act now.

trawa is developing the solution: the first integrated B2B energy platform that combines energy procurement, energy management, and the control of flexibilities in one product. Supply, Manage, Flex – combined. This integration enables savings of up to 30% on recurring electricity costs while simultaneously supporting companies in switching to renewable energies.

We are Europe's fastest-growing B2B energy platform. We are currently active in Germany and Austria and plan to expand our activities to a third market in 2027. Our goal is pan-European scaling. We move fast – the market window is open, and we want to seize it.

About trawa

trawa is a scale-up based in Berlin with around 100 employees, about 30 of whom are in Product & Tech. To date, we have raised over 35 million euros, including a Series A funding round of 24 million euros in May 2025. Our investors include Balderton, Headline, Speedinvest, AENU, Magnetic, and Tiny VC. All three founders remain actively involved and are 100% committed to building the energy utility company of the future.

We are looking for an AI Solutions & Process Engineer to achieve the next stage of growth together. You will report directly to our General Manager Energy Solutions and work closely with our Tech & Commercial teams. You will help shape the product that makes European industry more competitive again – and implement your ideas at high speed.

The position is based in Berlin. trawa is an Office-First company: You will typically work from our office five days a week.

Who we are looking for

• Digital Experience: You will develop both customer-facing and internal tools along the user journey that give us a structural competitive advantage in the European energy market. You will eliminate friction, increase conversion rates, and thus create the foundation for scalable growth.

• Scalability: You will be responsible for the overall process architecture, including the data model of the revenue process, continuously identify optimization potential together with the affected teams, and sustainably increase the efficiency of our processes through automation.

• Growth Engine: You will combine our internal process architecture with the digital experience, thereby creating a growth engine that generates sustainable, predictable, and scalable growth for trawa.

• User Journey: You will have a holistic view of our customers' journey and the underlying processes – from the initial contact with a lead to the successful start of a customer relationship – equally from the customer's perspective and from an internal perspective regarding operational scalability.

• AI Craftsmanship: You will use state-of-the-art AI solutions in your daily work, thereby building AI-native solutions that position trawa as a pioneer in the energy market concerning the use of AI.
  
  

Your Goals in the First 90 Days

• You will have gained the necessary understanding of our products, the energy market, our customers' journey, and relevant internal processes.

• You will have established yourself as the go-to contact person for our growth engine – and be in constant exchange with all important internal stakeholders on this matter.

• You will have developed a strategy for the further development of the area at trawa, set clear priorities, and established a roadmap with clear responsibilities and milestones that supports our further growth in Germany and expansion.

• In particular, you will have initiated initial optimization projects to increase conversion rates and optimize internal processes – and first results will be visible.

• You can implement technical solutions not only with low-code or vibe-coding approaches but are also capable of developing robust code.

• You combine technical thinking with user understanding. Using qualitative and quantitative research methods, you will identify pain points, validate hypotheses, and derive solutions with real added value for the users.

• You approach tasks with initiative and clear goal orientation.

• You think analytically and structurally: You enjoy breaking down complex processes into individual steps, recognizing optimization potential, and making decisions based on numbers and metrics.

• In your decision-making, you also consider strategic goals and can put yourself in the shoes of both customers and our sales team.

• You are up-to-date on AI: You follow current AI trends, test new tools, and continuously develop your expertise.

• You convince with strong communication skills and a collaborative working style. Exchanging ideas with internal stakeholders comes just as easily to you as professional communication with customers and external contacts.

• Experience in the energy industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
