We are looking for an exceptional AI Security Researcher to help us understand, analyze, and mitigate the unique security challenges posed by AI. Responsibilities: * Conduct cutting-edge research on the security of AI systems, including LLMs and AI agents. * Identify and analyze potential vulnerabilities in AI models and applications. * Develop and implement novel security solutions to protect AI systems. * Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI security and related fields. * Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to build and improve Harmonic's AI security platform. * Contribute to publications and presentations at academic conferences and industry events. Qualifications: * PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * Strong background in security, AI, or machine learning. * Experience with vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, or red teaming. * Knowledge of AI/ML security threats and defenses, such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model extraction, and adversarial attacks. * Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Strong programming skills in Python. Nice to Haves: * Experience with cloud security. * Experience with hardware security. * Publications in top-tier security or AI conferences (e.g., USENIX Security, ACM CCS, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
