AI Research & Tech Lead (m/w/x) Venture Capital

We are a venture capital fund focused on technology infrastructure. We invest particularly in artificial intelligence, software infrastructure, cybersecurity, Dev-Tools and the underlying hardware layer. Our team combines extensive operational experience in software development with long-standing experience as institutional investors.

Aufgaben

You have a deep understanding of fundamental AI concepts and operational experience in implementing them, for example, in the implementation of agent workflows or the integration of AI tools? In this role, you will work closely with us. You support us in evaluating new technological developments and research, developing existing theses further, and applying AI technologies to backtrace and our portfolio companies.

Thesenentwicklung & Research: You follow the latest developments around AI, agents, and adjacent infrastructure and support us in sharpening existing investment and market theses and developing new ones.

• Interne AI-Nutzung: You support us in further developing internal AI processes and introducing new technologies. In close coordination with us, you will independently take the path from idea to implementation.
• Portfolio Support: You support our portfolio companies in using AI and agents, for example, in workflows, integrations, and concrete technical questions, and work closely with us.
• Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalysen: You monitor new providers, tools, infrastructure, and trends around AI. You help us evaluate which architecture and market shifts are relevant and where new categories emerge.Spezialprojekte: You take on important cross-sectional themes, support us at Board Meetings and Quarterly Reports, identify bottlenecks independently and proactively address them.

Qualifikation

You have a strong technical background, for example, through a completed degree or Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a similar field. More important than formal stations is that you have already practically worked with AI. Ideally, you have developed and productively applied AI or agent workflows in a startup, research, or technical product team.
