AI R&D Engineer Agentic AI & RAG

Currently, we are looking for a profile for the position of: AI R&D Engineer (Agentic AI & RAG) Organizational Information: Cooperation form: B2B contract, stable, long-term commitment Rate: 160 - 180 PLN net + VAT/hour Office location: Warsaw (Wola) Service delivery mode: remote + visits to the office once every 2 weeks English language: required at an advanced level (C1) - daily cooperation in an international environment Sector: insurance Scope of Tasks: Design, prototyping, and implementation of modern AI-based solutions supporting the software development process and automation of development teams' work. The role includes conducting research and development (R&D) work, creating Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions, and evaluating and implementing new AI technologies within the organization. Expectations: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the IT area, including experience in designing and implementing AI-based solutions. Very good knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and AI services available in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Experience in designing and building solutions based on Agentic AI and generative AI models. Practical experience in designing and implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions, including contextual search, embeddings, vectorization, and integration with knowledge bases and documents. Ability to integrate AI models with applications, APIs, and tools supporting the software development process. Programming experience (Java or related technologies preferred) and good knowledge of the SDLC process, including CI/CD, code review, and automated tests. Ability for rapid prototyping, creating Proof of Concept (PoC), and verifying new solutions in an R&D environment. Independence, initiative, and ability to cooperate with development teams and architects. Nice to have: Experience with tools supporting the software development process, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, SonarQube, and development automation solutions.
