Our client is a rapidly growing, publicly traded corporate group with currently around 55 software companies in its portfolio. These are focused on highly specialized B2B software solutions – often in security-critical, public, or infrastructural application areas.

Your Responsibilities

The focus is on further developing the internal AI Hub based on Open WebUI. The platform is provided to various portfolio companies and is continuously expanded with new functions, integrations, and technical possibilities.

Platform Engineering: Development of new integrations, container images, and deployment solutions
AI Integrations: Maintenance and expansion of the catalog of tools, skills, agents, and integrations
AI Evaluation: Further development of the evaluation system for measuring and improving AI agents
Infrastructure as Code: Automation and further development of the cloud infrastructure
Release Management: Testing new versions, evaluating technical changes, and releasing stable releases
Cloud Infrastructure: Management of shared components such as Application Gateway, WAF, TLS, Redis, DNS, and network connections
Security: Implementation of security patches and further development of secure platform structures
Monitoring: Monitoring availability, versions, deployments, and cloud costs across all instances
Enablement: Creation of technical documentation, onboarding, and setting up preflight checks and guardrails

Your Profile as an AI Platform Engineer

Min. 2 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Operations with responsibility for production systems
AI-native – you have hands-on experience with LLMs and implemented AI solutions
Practical experience with Azure or AWS
Infrastructure as Code – experience with Bicep, Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation, among others
Proficient use of Linux, Docker, Git, and CI/CD
Experience with PostgreSQL and OAuth, SSO, or Entra ID
Good Python skills beyond classic scripting
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented with a passion for technical challenges
Fluent German & English skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with internal platforms and in multi-tenant or multi-customer cloud environments
- Exposure to LLM frameworks, agents, MCP, or RAG
- Experience with open-source projects
- French language skills
