AI Lead (m/w/d)

We are building myScribe, a KI-gestützte Dokumentationslösung that should free up doctors to focus on what they do best. Behind the product is real KI-Technologie. From clinical NLP-Pipelines, Graph-Modellen bis hin zur LLM gestützten Ausgabe. Now we are looking for someone who bundles this KI-Kompetenz, further develops it and carries it throughout the entire company.

Now the market is shifting: Foundational Models are getting more powerful, clinical KI-Regulierung is taking shape, and we need to ensure that myScribe remains technologically one step ahead.

Aufgaben

What you'll be doing

You will work directly with the leadership team and be responsible for our KI-Strategie und -Entwicklung. From model selection to productive use in the clinic. You think in systems, not in tickets. You understand, decide, and actively participate.

• KI-Strategie & Roadmap: you develop and are responsible for our KI-Roadmap – from model and technology selection to integration into our product
• Modellentwicklung & Evaluation: you train, evaluate, and optimize approaches for clinical practice in heterogeneous clinic landscapes
• AI-Qualität & Safety: you establish robust evaluation and monitoring processes to ensure model quality, data protection, and regulatory requirements (e.g. EU AI Act, MDR)
• Produktintegration: you work closely with our engineers to integrate KI-Features seamlessly into the myScribe platform and demonstrate their added value with clear, measurable KPIs
• Research & Innovation: you monitor KI-Forschung and market trends, test new approaches for myScribe, and bring them strategically into product development and decision-making
• Team- & Kompetenzaufbau: you foster KI-Kompetenz throughout the company, build the AI-Team up, and position myScribe as one of the leading KI-Akteure im Gesundheitswesen
• Partnerschaften & Ökosystem: you establish contacts with KI-partners, research institutions, and clinical organizations and bring your own KI-expertise into the company

Qualifikation

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years of professional experience in developing and deploying KI/ML-Lösungen – ideally in the Healthcare or another regulated field
• Nachweisliche Erfolge bei der Entwicklung und dem Deployment von KI-Modellen in demanding, production-like environments (e.g. NLP, LLMs, classical Machine Learning)
• Exzellente kommunikative Fähigkeiten and the ability to translate KI-themes for different target groups – from engineers to management
• Analytisches Denkvermögen: you can structure complexity, read KPIs, and make data-based decisions
• Eigenständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise: you don't need a hand to lead you
• Sicherer Umgang mit dem KI-Toolstack (z. B. Python, PyTorch/HuggingFace, Experiment-Tracking wie MLflow, vLLM)
• You bring experience in handling Cloud with (ideally AWS)
