AI Governance (Senior) Consultant (m/f/d)

• You analyze existing governance models and identify optimization potentials in the context of AI
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You take the lead in complex governance projects, bear strategic responsibility for the implementation of modern AI governance frameworks, and advise at the corporate level on Governance, Risk & Compliance topics.
• You design and implement policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure robust AI governance
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You develop customized governance strategies and solutions that aim for international compliance and ethics standards, and advise on the creation of new processes, committees, and clear responsibilities.
• You support clients domestically and internationally in establishing compliance and ethics standards
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You advise executives and decision-makers regarding regulatory risks and accompany companies in preparing for the EU AI Act, including integrating the requirements into existing processes, structures, and control systems.
• You coordinate the implementation of governance processes within AI projects
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You monitor the implementation of governance processes, initiate continuous improvements, and work closely with internal teams as well as clients, especially from regulated industries.
• You review regulatory requirements and initiate measures for compliance with legal provisions
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You support the implementation and further development of ISO management systems and conduct or technically support information security audits.
• You mentor and coach Junior Consultants and promote knowledge transfer within the team.
• You document processes and create reports for continuous improvement of governance structures
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You document project progress, present results in workshops, and lead strategic discussions with stakeholders, and create well-founded decision proposals.

• You have successfully completed your studies and have initial relevant practical experience, e.g., through internships or working student positions.
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in consulting, auditing, or a comparable role.
• You are passionate about topics like Governance or Risk & Compliance and have a solid theoretical foundation.
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You have extensive experience in regulatory affairs, governance, or Risk & Compliance.
• You have a basic understanding of how AI models work and are interested in their control and quality assurance.
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You have in-depth experience in interdisciplinary consulting on the design of AI control processes and in ensuring governance standards throughout the entire AI lifecycle.
• You have a strong desire to engage intensively with frameworks for the secure use of AI and are interested in regulatory frameworks.
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You have knowledge of regulatory requirements such as NIS2, DORA, or MaRisk and ideally the EU AI Act, or have the willingness to quickly and thoroughly familiarize yourself with this field.
• You have basic knowledge in information security and ideally have gained initial insights into audit processes.
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You have audit experience, particularly in information security, and ideally a certification as an ISO Lead Implementor and/or ISO Auditor.
• You have the ability to grasp complex requirements and enjoy working on translating them into tangible measures.
  • Additionally at the Senior Level: You can confidently contextualize regulatory requirements, interpret them practically, and translate them into concrete organizational, procedural, or technical measures.
• You enjoy working in a team, are proactive, and open to feedback and further development.

• You are a strong communicator and confident in your demeanor in German and English.
