AI Engineer – Hybrid Models & Process Digital Twins Role Overview The AI Engineer will design and implement hybrid models that combine first-principles (physics-based) modeling with deep learning , enabling process digital twins and AI agents for advanced simulation, optimization, and autonomous decision-making in industrial environments, mainly Oil & Gas Industry. Key Responsibilities Develop hybrid physics-informed (first principles) and data-driven (Neural Networks and others) models . Build and integrate AI-powered digital twins that simulate complex industrial processes using a combination of first-principles modeling and machine learning techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop AI-based solutions for process optimization, predictive maintenance, and autonomous decision-making. Develop and maintain AI models using various programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB. Work closely with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI models into industrial control systems and other applications. Design and implement AI-powered agents that can interact with humans and other machines in a way that is intuitive and efficient. Ensure the development of AI models and digital twins meets industry standards for safety, security, and regulatory compliance. Develop and maintain documentation for AI models, digital twins, and AI-powered agents. Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, machine learning, and deep learning to continuously improve AI model performance and accuracy.
