Job description

Who are we?

At MARGO, our consultants work on what truly matters: complex projects that combine intellectual challenge and real business impact.

This is why we support major players in finance, industry, and tech on their most strategic projects in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

Why join the AI practice?

You will work within a team supervised by Hamza Bouanani, AI Practice Manager at MARGO, also Lead Data Scientist.

Working alongside him means joining a team of passionate experts, being challenged technically and methodologically, and contributing to high-impact projects for clients.

Your missions

We are currently looking for an AI Engineer specializing in AI4Code to support the transformation of software engineering at our clients. You will join our AI Practice to redefine the developer experience (DevEx) by combining the use of the best market tools and the design of tailor-made intelligent agents.

You will be involved in three major areas:

Deployment & Optimization of AI Assistants

  • Integration, configuration, and optimization of leading solutions (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor IDE) within development environments.

  • Definition of usage strategies for code generation, implementation of AI-assisted TDD practices, and automated documentation.

  • Support for development teams: pair-programming with AI, creation of guidelines, and dissemination of best practices for effective and secure adoption.

AI Agents & AI4Code Engineering

  • Design and development of autonomous agents capable of analyzing, generating, and transforming code for specific business use cases.

  • Implementation of agent pipelines for large-scale refactoring: technical debt detection, target architecture proposals, modernization of legacy systems, and framework migration.

  • Development of custom solutions when market tools reach their limits.

Industrialization & LLMOps

  • Management of the lifecycle of AI solutions applied to code: prompt versioning, data flow security, and usage governance.

  • Implementation of observability mechanisms to evaluate the quality, reliability, and relevance of generated code.

  • Integration of solutions into production environments with strong requirements for security and scalability.

Your role will also include:

  • Active technological watch: Monitoring the rapid evolutions of AI4Code tools, models, and emerging practices around AI-assisted development.

  • Technical scoping: Supporting client teams in identifying and prioritizing high-value use cases.

  • Best Practices: Contributing to the structuring of standards, methods, and lessons learned within the AI Practice.

Profile sought

We are looking for engineers passionate about software engineering applied to AI, wanting to work in environments where code robustness is as important as model performance.

  • Education (Strict prerequisite): You hold a degree of level Bac+5 (Top Engineering School or Master 2 University in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Artificial Intelligence).

  • Software Engineer Background: You have solid development experience (Python, TypeScript, and/or statically typed languages like Java/C#). You master the principles of Clean Code, SOLID, and software architecture.

  • AI4Code Expertise: You are aware of the limitations, reasoning capabilities, and hallucination risks of current LLMs (GPT-4o, Claude 3.5, etc.), and you know how to make the most of them.

  • Mindset & Pedagogy: You are able to analyze a technical environment, design a clear AI integration strategy, and explain these concepts to technical and business stakeholders.

What we offer

  • Ambitious and varied missions, always selected for their added value;

Close support from recognized experts;

  • A community of passionate engineers, with regular workshops, conferences, and exchanges;

  • A culture of technical rigor, knowledge sharing, and continuous development.

What's next?

First interview: Chat with a recruiter and a business developer

Technical interview: Showcase your skills and receive feedback

Motivation interview: Meet with a member of the executive committee
