AVISIA is a consulting firm specializing in Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital, founded in 2007. With over 320 employees spread across 5 agencies in France, we assist our clients in leveraging their data and developing innovative solutions, from strategy to production deployment.

Some examples of AI Engineer projects

• Design and development of autonomous agents to automate business processes: design of complex workflows, particularly in industry or customer relations, in which AI agents perform a series of tasks, make decisions, and interact with the company's internal tools and data.

• Design and orchestration of multi-agent platforms: implementation of architectures where several specialized AI agents collaborate to solve complex problems, for example, by combining information retrieval, summarization, and code execution, to improve operational efficiency.

• Deployment of Cloud platforms: design and deployment of environments for developing, securing, monitoring, and evolving AI solutions.

• Evaluation, observability, and governance of AI solutions: implementation of systems to track the quality, costs, performance, and security of AI applications, to ensure their reliability and sustainability.

AI Engineer – Data & AI (M/F)

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with a higher education degree (Bac+5) in computer science, software engineering, data science, or an equivalent field.

You have 3 to 5 years of experience in Data & AI development, data engineering, machine learning engineering, or AI solution design. You have a solid foundation in Python and software development: APIs, Git, testing, containerization, and CI/CD.

You have already participated in AI solution industrialization projects, ideally around RAG, AI agents, Cloud environments, and production deployment.

Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for an autonomous, pragmatic, and curious individual, capable of understanding a business need and translating it into a concrete technical solution. Good command of French and technical English proficiency are expected.

Your role as an AI Engineer

At AVISIA, you will work on various technical challenges, from the design to the deployment of AI solutions in production.

Depending on your experience, skills, and the projects, you may be involved in:

• Analysis of needs and design of AI architectures adapted to business challenges.

• Development of AI agents, workflows, and RAG applications.

• Integration of tools, APIs, and enterprise data.

• Development of APIs, MCP servers, and backend services.

• Industrialization and deployment of solutions in Cloud environments.

• Implementation of tests, evaluations, and observability and security measures.

• Documentation of solutions and sharing of best practices with teams.

You will work closely with clients and AVISIA consultants to contribute to technical decisions, propose relevant solutions, and advance expertise in generative AI.

Technical environments

You don't need to master all these technologies to join us! We are primarily looking for solid, curious, and motivated development profiles with a desire to learn and grow their skills in generative AI, industrialization, and Cloud topics.

Depending on your skills, your interests, and the projects you work on, you may be led to work with various technologies:

• Languages & frameworks: Python, SQL, Node.js, FastAPI, LangChain, ADK, LlamaIndex, Generative AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic…).

• DevOps & industrialization: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git.

• Data & Cloud platforms: Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku.

The recruitment process

We favor a structured and transparent process, to allow you to discover AVISIA and better understand the expectations of the role at each stage.

1. An initial discussion with our Talent Acquisition team: a phone interview, video call, or in-person meeting to discuss your background, your aspirations, and our environment.

2. A technical test: a multiple-choice quiz and practical case studies will be sent to you by email on the evening of your HR interview. You will have 7 days to complete them.

3. A technical interview: you will meet a senior consultant, a manager, or a Practice Leader, ideally on-site, to delve deeper into your skills and discuss projects.

Informal discussions with the team may also be organized if needed, to allow you to discover your future work environment.
