AI Engineer

Bring artificial intelligence into real-world applications – not just onto a poster.

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer (m/w/d) to accompany KI projects from the idea to rollout. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to develop solutions that run stably, securely, and create genuine added value.

Tasks

• Development and implementation of specific AI application cases

(e.g. LLM-Apps, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Machine-Learning Models)

• Building data pipelines and interfaces (ETL/ELT, APIs) as well as feature engineering
• Evaluation of models, system and prompt design, guardrails and monitoring
• Participation in MLOps topics such as containerization, CI/CD, deployment, testing and monitoring
• Creating technical concepts, documentation, and handover to operations or customer IT
• Supporting effort estimates, roadmaps, and KPI definitions together with the strategy team

Qualification

• 2-4 years of professional experience in software or ML engineering, ideally with a focus on LLM technologies
• Familiarity with Python and common frameworks (e.g. FastAPI, Pydantic, LangChain/LlamaIndex, scikit-learn, PyTorch)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containers (Docker) and version control (Git)
• Understanding of IT security, data protection, and responsible AI application
• Quality awareness, structured working style, and joy in teamwork
• Good German and English language skills
