AI DevOps Engineer / Automation Builder (m/w/d)

We operate THG-quotas and run one of the active B2C-brands in the market. Behind the growth stands a small, fast team that scales its processes with AI and own tools instead of more heads.

We are looking for someone who drives this forward: from a ticket to a running tool within days, not a backlog entry for next quarter. If you use AI not as a buzzword but as daily tool and enjoy connecting systems and automating workflows, the role fits.

Your Mission

You make our company operationally faster by automating processes, building internal tools, and making our system landscape (HubSpot, Mailchimp, internal databases, AI assistants) into a neatly interconnected whole.

Tasks

• Ticket to Vibecode: You take requirements from the team and set them quickly into functioning, reliable solutions using modern AI-coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.). Prototype today, pilot-ready this week.
• Automate processes: You find recurring manual workflows (Support, Campaigns, Reporting, Data Maintenance) and replace them with automations and scripts.
• Build and operate tools: internal web-tools, dashboards, small services, and AI assistants. From the idea to implementation to stable operation.
• HubSpot integration: You connect HubSpot with our other systems (data flows, workflows, enrichment, reporting) and ensure that Sales and Marketing work smoothly.
• Intra-team communication: You are the technical interface between management, marketing, support, and trading. You translate business requirements into solutions and the solutions back into understandable results.
• Root KI in everyday life: You help the team use AI tools productively and securely, and build the necessary infrastructure (MCP connections, assistants, templates).

Qualification

• You build software and automations independently. Node.js, Python, SQL, and modern web stacks are your everyday.
• You already work with AI-coding tools and know when fast Vibecode is enough and when it needs clean engineering.
• You have experience with APIs and integrations, ideally with HubSpot, CRM, or marketing automation systems.
• You think from a business result perspective, not from a feature. You ask first what problem should be solved.
• You communicate clearly in German, work structured, and deliver finished things, not half-baked.
• Nice to have: Data protection and DSGVO awareness, experience with local or self-hosted solutions, interest in energy and mobility topics.
