AI-Automation Specialist (m/w/d)

We are a specialized AI-Automation agency. We build business-critical infrastructure for scaling companies. Currently, we have a shortage of high-level architecture and implementation competence. We're not looking for someone who builds simple Zaps, but rather a technical engineer who understands complex data models in Airtable and develops robust, error-resistant workflows in n8n/Make.

Tasks

You will take on the technical responsibility for specific customer projects. Your goal is to translate requirements into stable, scalable systems:

• System Architecture (Airtable): You don't just build tables. You design relational databases that scale. You understand the difference between a 'list' and a 'clean data model' and use interfaces and scripting where necessary.
• Advanced Workflow Engineering (n8n / Make): You build automations that won't break even if an API occasionally times out. Error-Handling, Routing, and complex data transformations (JSON) are standard for you.
• API Integration: You connect tools (CRM, Slack, Custom-APIs) not just through standard modules, but also via HTTP requests and webhooks when necessary.
• Demonstration: You don't hand over a 'black box'. Your workflows are so commented and documented that our team can later maintain them.

Qualification

We're looking for 'Proven Experts'. Certificates are irrelevant to us; we want to see your previous work.

• Must-have: Deep, practice-proven experience with n8n (ideally also self-hosting knowledge) and/or Make.com.
• Data Modeling: You're an Airtable Power User and well-versed in formulas, automations, interfaces, and Airtable scripts.
• Code Understanding: You don't sweat when you need to write a code node with JavaScript/TypeScript in n8n to parse data.
• Structure: You work cleanly. Your scenarios don't look like spaghetti, but are logically grouped and modularly built.
• Languages: German and English are secure in word and writing (for documentation and customer contact).
