AI Application Engineer (Chinese Media Group)

The Chinese Media Group (CMG) is looking for a highly motivated AI Application Engineer to join our Product and Technology team. This position involves developing AI solutions specifically for Chinese-language publications, analyzing Chinese news data, and collaborating closely with CMG editorial teams. Therefore, candidates are required to be proficient in both English and Chinese (written and spoken). Key Responsibilities AI Product R&D & System Integration : Lead the core AI development for various AI-powered applications, including but not limited to natural language processing, computer vision, and machine learning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and products. Develop and maintain AI models using popular deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of AI models to ensure high accuracy and reliability. Work closely with data scientists to analyze and interpret large datasets, identifying trends and patterns that can inform AI model development. Collaborate with editorial teams to develop AI-powered tools for content analysis, recommendation systems, and other applications. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of CMG's products and services, as well as the latest developments in AI research and industry trends. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of AI-related code. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to improve AI-powered applications. Requirements : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in AI development, preferably in a media or publishing environment. Strong proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken). Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Familiarity with popular programming languages such as Python or Java. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
