Job description

About YOO

Hello. We are YOO, the Basel digital agency. We develop digital solutions that simplify processes and make teams more productive.

To achieve this, people from a wide variety of disciplines work closely together – strategically, creatively, and technically. If you want to take responsibility and make a difference in the daily digital project environment, you are in the right place. We are looking for someone immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

  • Development of software solutions for clients from a wide variety of industries.

  • Effective use of coding agents, LLMs, and AI APIs in daily development.

  • Understanding client requirements and critically examining them for completeness, clarity, and technical feasibility together with UX, Design, and Project Management.

  • Specifying features in such a way that they can be efficiently implemented with AI support.

  • Active co-design of our AI-supported development processes (tooling, workflows, guidelines) to implement client solutions faster and better.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in professional software development.

  • In-depth knowledge of software architecture and software design.

  • Practical experience in the use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as well as a good understanding of the possibilities and limitations of LLMs and agentic software development.

  • Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD, and automated testing, so that AI-generated code is reliably secured in client projects.

  • A structured, self-responsible way of working and enjoyment of new technologies.

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based architectures, as well as with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.

  • You possess very good German (C2) and good English skills (B2).

Benefits

  • Work-life integration with flexible working hours, home office, and workation.

  • A friendly team that looks forward to working with you and will help you settle in quickly, as well as opportunities for active co-design and flat hierarchies.

  • Support for further training and participation in company profits.

  • Modern office within walking distance of the SBB train station.

  • Accident supplementary insurance and an attractive occupational pension plan.

  • Vibrant team culture with games, sports, and fun.
