Security Agent

Join our security team at Techo-Bloc! We have an open position for a security agent to work both in our installations of Saint-Hubert and Chambly.

As the permanent part-time (16 hours per week) job, you will be working on Saturdays and Sundays from 4pm to Midnight.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of Techo-Bloc employees and assets, in collaboration with a dynamic and motivated team of agents. Our ideal candidate values discretion and courtesy and will act as a model and reference in applying company policies.

Here is an overview of your tasks:

• Ensure coverage in our Chambly and Saint-Hubert installations;
• Avoid proactive detection, surveillance, and reporting of any security threats - dangerous situations, suspicious behavior, or other concerns, by quickly informing the Security Chief;
• Continuously monitor locations using camera systems and alarms (intrusion, fire), and intervene promptly in case of an alert;
• Perform regular patrols inside and outside installations on foot or by vehicle, according to established protocols;
• Respond appropriately during emergency situations (theft, intrusion, altercation, fire, etc.), including physical interventions as needed (evacuation, first aid);
• Communicate with emergency services when necessary and collaborate effectively with first responders;
• Apply health and safety at work policies to promote a culture of prevention;
• Solve conflict situations in collaboration with concerned managers;
• Control access to installations, including welcoming visitors, suppliers, and other stakeholders;
• Write clear and detailed reports on events to document incidents and preserve evidence;
• Perform any other related tasks.
