Maintenance Agent / Operations Agent CFC

The Role

The maintenance agent is responsible for the routine upkeep, repairs, and maintenance of the EMS buildings, technical installations, and equipment. They ensure their proper functioning as well as the safety of the infrastructure, carry out necessary checks, and report any malfunctions.

They provide support to the various departments to meet their technical needs. The role may involve irregular working hours as well as on-call duties at night and on weekends.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• organization and planning of maintenance;
• preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings and installations;
• routine maintenance of buildings;
• technical assistance to residents and their families;
• monitoring of installations and performing periodic checks;
• diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs;
• monitoring the maintenance of medical-technical equipment;
• coordination of external technical and IT service providers;
• management of equipment, spare parts, and technical documentation;
• participation in safety measures and informing staff;
• first-level IT support and monitoring of IT, telephone, and audiovisual equipment;
• logistical support to the various departments.

Profile Sought

You meet the following conditions, among others:

• CFC (Federal Vocation Certificate) in a relevant technical trade or an equivalent qualification;
• proven professional experience in the maintenance of buildings and technical installations; experience in an EMS or healthcare setting is an asset;
• recognized qualification to perform work on the company's specific installations in accordance with Article 13 OIBT (Swiss Ordinance on the Protection Against Dangers from Non-Ionizing Radiation), an asset;
• good knowledge of building technical installations and the ability to diagnose malfunctions;
• knowledge of safety standards and risk prevention principles;
• good IT skills to provide first-level support and equipment monitoring;
• adherence to the values and institutional project of the Association Les Châtaigniers;
• a versatile, autonomous, and organized professional personality, demonstrating good judgment, a sense of responsibility, and good teamwork skills;
• a strong interest in the field of elderly care and the ability to intervene discreetly in a living environment;
• availability to ensure, as needed, irregular hours and on-call duties;
• good command of French, both spoken and written.
