We are seeking a bilingual account agent to join our correspondence and institutional services team.

This person will support Aviso's correspondence and institutional services by providing exceptional service to clients, team members, and other stakeholders. The correspondence and institutional services team offers comprehensive custody and negotiation services to help portfolio managers, remittance brokers, and financial partners grow their businesses. In collaboration with the team, you will participate in monitoring and investigations related to operational activities and service delivery for asset management. You will contribute to the team's daily activities and support tasks and produce special reports.

Your day:

  • To monitor client account activities and collect information on this subject for responses to clients
  • Collaborate with operational teams and IT when examining activities and processing requests
  • Examine incoming transfer documents to verify that they are well-filled and proceed with the request, then follow up
  • Inform partners of any outgoing transfer demand and coordinate the account transfer according to the service level agreement (SLA)
  • Receive and direct certain daily processing activities through Aviso or other parties concerned
  • Handle general information requests by phone and email regarding activity processing
  • Produce reports on client accounts and other activities as needed
  • Participate in managing and any other task related to service delivery

Requirements:

Experience and skills required::

  • University or college degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, required
  • SUCCESSFUL course on Canadian securities
  • At least two years of experience in client service in a similar role
  • Able to collect information efficiently and ensure timely follow-up
  • Sense of organization, attention to detail, excellent time management and prioritization skills, and ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and participation in resolving problems
  • Great sense of initiative, meticulousness, and exceptional adaptability
  • Exceptional client service skills

Salary:

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 CAD per year. Individual compensation conditions are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the role.
