COSS Agent - Safety Coordinator on Construction Sites

The COSS Agent (Safety Coordinator on Construction Sites) reports to the project manager and works closely with the direction and site teams. The agent ensures the rigorous application of prevention policies and compliance with current legislation.

The agent acts as a health and safety leader on-site and plays a key role in training, sensitization, and supervision of workers.

• Ensure the implementation and follow-up of the prevention program on construction sites.

• Identify, analyze, and correct potential health and safety risks.

• Conduct daily site inspections and write corresponding reports.

• Participate in accident, incident, and near-accident investigations and recommend corrective measures.

• Ensure compliance with CNESST and current standards (Construction Safety Code).

• Organize safety meetings (workshops, training sessions, etc.) for site teams.

• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure respect of SST policies.

• Welcome new employees on-site and present them with SST procedures.

• Produce required documentation (reports, registers, verification sheets, etc.).

• Promote a proactive and participatory prevention culture within the company.
