We have an opening for a Medical Science Liaison position within our Medical Affairs team. This exciting career opportunity will allow you to establish and maintain relationships, as well as our scientific credibility with established and new external experts. Our Medical Science Liaisons respond to requests by providing key scientific/medical information to external experts and internal stakeholders.

Main responsibilities

  • Acquire/maintain key scientific knowledge that enables credible dissemination of information to external experts and healthcare professionals, helping to establish professional working relationships.
  • Participate in studies conducted by researchers, clinical trials, and medical projects undertaken within the relevant therapeutic area and ensure follow-up.
  • Provide scientific support and contribute to maintaining relations with external experts and universities.
  • Makes credible presentations on various scientific topics to healthcare professionals, individually or in groups.
  • Participate in the targeting of qualified healthcare professionals with whom AbbVie would like to engage in collaboration projects, such as research or support for conferences/meetings (advisory committees, congresses, symposia, etc.) and ensure a high level of integrity in the scientific or informational content disseminated within these collaborations.
  • Participate in relevant meetings/conferences and write summaries of key data presented.
