Key Responsibilities
• Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, including mobility support, household tasks, personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.
• Collaborate with clients and their families to determine appropriate levels and types of support required.
• Offer emotional support and guidance to help individuals manage challenges such as grief, confusion, or depression.
• Plan, coordinate, and encourage involvement in community-based social activities designed for people with disabilities.
• Assist clients in accessing disability-related programs and services.
• Support individuals in pursuing education, training, and employment opportunities.
• Identify, respond to, and manage potential risks or emergencies in home-based care settings to ensure a safe environment.
Required Skills and Experience
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality care.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Salary Package
Annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000, plus superannuation.
