Position: Full time Aged or Disabled Carer

Office Location: Suite 5, 459 Nepean Highway, Frankston, VIC, 3199

Location: 102-106 Cranbourne Road, Frankston VIC 3199

Annual Salary: $77k to $80k per annum + Superannuation

Responsibilities and duties:

• Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
• Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
• Provide personal care services, including hygiene, dressing, and assistance with daily tasks
• Assist life stage transition, complex needs, behaviour support and group centre activities
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
• Assisting patients with their personal care needs such as showering, dressing and eating
• Assisting patients with their mobility and communication needs
• Participating in planning the care of individuals
• Following therapy plans such as interventions to assist those with dementia and behavioural problems
• Assisting with rehabilitation exercises, basic treatment and delivering medications
• Providing direct support and assistance to therapists

Mandatory Requirements:

• Completed a minimum of Certificate III in individual support or disability
• National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sectors)
• Current First Aid & CPR certifications
• Working with children check
• NDIS worker screening clearance
